It's that time of year again...Playoffs. My firstborn Grandbaby, Maddy plays fast pitch softball. And yesterday was their first tournament game! My Maddy is the Catcher pictured in this photo. Ooh, The game very was exciting! They won 4 to 3...so they get to move up and play again tonight!
Another photo of my catcher...she gets her athletic abilities from my Mama who was Captain of her High school Basketball team. I am so not athletic!
This is the beginning of the game where my Maddy started out playing 3rd base. She gets jostled around from 3rd base to catcher and even sometimes pitcher. She was chosen for the All Star team where she will play 2nd base...It's an exciting time of year for us...Play Ball!

Take me out to the ball game! It's so much fun to see those grands in action, isn't it! She is one gifted gal, I can only imagine what God's plans are for her as an adult..it's gonna be good!

My kids have ZIP athletic ability! Charlie DID play soccer his Freshman year of High School but my girls are all artsy-fartsy like me! Dave STILL plays softball and I have spent MANY years sitting on the bleachers cheering him on. It's way too hot to get out and enjoy much outdoors here lately in Texas! It could be worse, Dave is in Palm Springs for a RR convention and it was 113 degrees yesterday! BLECH!!!
