We Never Know

I know much has been said about the tragedy of Robin Williams death.  It was shocking.  But, to me maybe not so much...You see, we lost a nephew, to suicide.  It made us all...ask, WHY!?  We will never know.  David, left us way too soon and our grief lingers still.  Always will.  We are praying for those who know this pain, so shocking that it leaves you numb in disbelief.  All we can do is cling to a loving God, who willingly gave His own Son...He understands.

I just read this...sad but true.

Whenever Richard Cory went down town.
We people on the pavement looked at him:
He was a gentleman from sole to crown,
Clean favored, and imperially slim.

And he was always quietly arrayed,
And he was always human when he talked;
But still he fluttered pulses when he said,
'Good-morning,' and he glittered when he walked.

And he was rich - yes, richer than a king -
And admirably schooled in every grace:
In fine, we thought that he was everything
To make us wish that we were in his place.

So on we worked, and waited for the light,
And went without the meat, and cursed the bread;
And Richard Cory, one calm summer night,
Went home and put a bullet through his head.
Edwin Arlington Robinson

So sorry to hear about your nephew. I was also sorry to learn of Robin Williams suicide. Heard he was suffering from Parkinson's disease and that could have been the reason. We will never know. When I was a little girl I always prayed everyone would find Jesus and be happy. It was a simple child's prayer. As I grow older I find I am praying that simple prayer again. He is the answer to ALL of life's problems. Knowing Jesus is what everyone needs.

I was also shocked by the suicide of Robin Williams. He was funny and he was feelgood.
I guess it's not the hard, harsh and bad people who comitt suicide. It's the gentle,vulnerable, sharing ones.
May he rest in peace, may he be welcomed in heaven.

I was very sad when I heard the news of Robin Williams death. It is so sad when someone is so deep into their darkness that they can't see the light that tomorrow will bring. Our best couple friend from High School lost their 12 years old son 13 years ago to suicide. To live without the answers is so painful and I pray for all the families who are left beyond with this grief to bear.

My husband's brother committed suicide in his early 50's........while we all knew he had his demons, it was shocking and sad. I am so sorry for anyone who feels there is nothing left in life that makes it worth living.
