Fields Of Fun

Lately, I haven't had much time nor the inclination to sit here. Spring brings the busyness of Practice, Opening Day Parades and exciting games at the Ballfields. Our Emilee (above) is the starting Pitcher for the Phillies and they whizzed through their first game victoriously happy! Yippee!
Our Maddy (above) now plays for Truman High School. Oh, and she is also a Pitcher! Sheesh...talk about exciting and nerve racking! I now have a deep respect for those on the Mound, the game depends on them. Balls, strikes, walks, hits...makes my head spin just thinking about it. You go Maddy!
Now, our Xavier aka Scooter is our only Soccer player. These games go by quickly and are fun, fun, fun. This Blog has been happily interrupted by life...I will be found with Tim Horton's coffee in hand, lawn chair swung over my shoulder and heading for the fields. God is good. I am one happy Gram! ~Blessings

These days when the grands are young are priceless, your smart to share each moment you can with them because they are gone much to quickly.
Love every one of your precious grands...and YOU!!!

I agree with Pat. Do not miss a moment, but then again, you are role model always keeping your priorities right.
What a wonderful sight, happy grandchildren living real life outdoors.
Hopefully having a long, good summer ahead of you.

I think the childhood summers are like small eternities. Full of sunshine, outdoor joys and school far, far away.
