Perfect Kind Of Day
What a day I have had! Got up this morning and Miss Em handed me a fresh, hot cup of coffee...ahh, she made it just for me. There was a fresh layer of snow on the ground...So, I sat and gazed out the window, as Tomer was out clearing the walks and driveway. Thankful, that he finally broke down and bought a snow blower, after all these years!
Mandy, stopped by after working the midnight shift, to pick up Miss Em... and we were left with a day all to ourselves. After, my usual morning chores I bundled up and headed out to get groceries. I just love being out when it is snowing...I know, call me crazy! But, the world just seems so still and peaceful to me.
I ended up making a few extra stops while out and about. Stopped to rent a couple of movies that Tomer has wanted to see and made a trip to the drive-thru for our favorite coffee's. I wanted to surprise my Tomer, since he was at home doing some things on his honey-do list.
With our chores finished for the day, we snuggled under a blanket and watched our movies. Iron Man and Iron Man 2 and surprisingly, I enjoyed them!
Supper, was a quick and easy meal of Bacon and French Toast. Comfort foods, in the warm comfort of the home God has provided for us all these years. And after 41 years together, nothing has changed, we still love being together. I know without a doubt that God, made Tomer just for me!
Yes, this was a perfect day...blessings.

Gee, how nice. Your life sounds
just like a happy sitcom from
the sixties before T.V. was all
trash. I love going out to shop
when the snow is falling too.
It's peaceful and refreshing.
Hope the rest of your weekend
is as nice as the first part.
Shalom!
Sandy
How sweet Trish, wonderful everlasting love, you are truly blessed !
Some days, God's blessings seem to be so bright you almost need to wear sunglasses! This sounds like one of those days.
That precious Em is such a sweetie, we just love her to pieces! We love all of you guys to pieces!
Dear Trish,
Thanks for sharing the greatest things in life, love, family and our giving, heavenly father.
I agree, snow is great, especially when it is not icy and slippery.
Have a great Lord's Day, all of you.
From Felisol
Sounds perfect! More perfect that those kind of days is the heart to see them. I think they aren't all that rare, just sadly unrecognized. Love you!
Well you just brought me to tears. As I was reading I was thinking about how peaceful your posts always are. They always calm me down. Then you mentioned your sweet Tomer and I got all teary. I don't think we have ever snuggled under a blanket to watch a movie. I have to change that!!!
Perfectly ordinary days are such a blessing. I am glad I found your blog and I hope you have a wonderful week.
