O, Holy Night is among my top ten Christmas hymns too.
I'm also very fond of Silent Night.
If you have got the time author John Cowart has written an interesting story about bishop Young, who translated this Austrian hymn to English 150 years ago.

I remember being brought to tears a few years ago when I saw this performance on TV. Still the best message ... needs to be played more than once a year.
