Painting And Moving

Here it is Saturday morning...Since, we had those Snow Days this past week, my days are a wee bit off.
I reckon, because I have no job, other than caring for my home... Time seems to run together.
There's just Elek and I here this morning. His, Mama called about 8:30 and asked if I was ready for him...Yes siree, I was. Had finished up my chores and had the gate ready to block him from my kitchen. That boy loves to prowl and can get up and down the basement steps in a flash! So, I find that is the best way to keep him in sight at all times. And believe me, it helps keep this ol' Grammy's anxiety at a reasonable level...LOL.
Kell and family are at the house unloading boxes, painting and anxiously awaiting the delivery of their brand new Washer&Dryer...yippee! Papa (Tomer) of course, is with them helping do whatever needs to be done. And by the end of the month they should be settling into their new home. The Lord is sooo good!
We, had our first Life Group on Thursday night. Since, our Church is rather large, this is a way of connecting with people. I must say, that it was a wonderful time of fellowship and making new friends. (There are to be no more than 20 people in each group and we meet outside the Church.) I found, in this intimate setting, that it was easy, to get to know others needs and personalities. What, I wasn't sure of...ended up, being a blessing and I look forward to our time together every week.
Well, I think, that there is a stench in the room and Elek needs a diaper change...shew. I had best sign off for now! Have a blessed peaceful weekend...not sure that caring for a 2 year old will be peaceful but I am blessed surely blessed!

Love to All!

Sounds like a wonderfull way to spend a Saturday to me! Enjoy it Grammy!

I also am joining a small group study from our church. About the same size as yours it sounds like. My first meeting will be this coming Monday evening. I am so looking forward to it. We are going to begin with a study on Boundaries.

Have a great weekend!

Many hugs.............

Small groups, Life Groups we call them at our church are essential! We have built wonderful friendships within ours and these are the people we turn to when we need prayer warriors, movers, visits in the hospital and so on! We call it "Doing life together" and it has been the best experiece ever! Not only do we get to receive but Dave and i have found ourselves being mentors to the younger couples in our group!
