Not too Smart

Well, I did it...I got myself an IPhone aka a Smart Phone! Nothing like a new gadget to make an ol' gal feel dumb...sheesh.  Last night, while trying to load my music from ITunes I worked myself into such a tizzy, that I could not sleep...sigh.  Thank the Lord, for daughters that are able to talk me through things or just take over and do it for me or I might just pitch a hissy fit.  I know, I know...everyone thinks that I am a calm and patient person...but this little gadget has convinced me otherwise!  After 9 days I am still learning and just a bit overwhelmed.  Mandy says "Mama just think of it as a mini computer,"  Okay.  But do you know what I love, but find kind of scarey...it's the check in feature???   It can locate you with the push of a button!  Reminds me of the "Twilight Zone."  Remember that old show?   Doo...Doo...Dooo...Doo.   Creepy...Now, I am living in the future...but I am so not ready for it.

One of my sons just got himself an IPhone day before yesterday. He loves it but when he tried to show and explain things to me it was sort of over my head. I have the most simple phone ever and that suits me fine. Enjoy yours!

They are like a mini computer. I don't have an IPhone but I do love my Droid2 that I got in January.
Enjoy! Thanks for my birthday wishes. You are a no-reply!

You can do it girlfriend, just channel your inner techy! LOL!
They are great once you learn every thing....I don't think I have enough lifetime left though to learn it all! I'm a slow learner!

Hey Trish, this is cute and funny. In my family of two sons, two daughters in law, and one daughter, I am the only one who doesn't have an iPhone. I'm happy with my Nokia... but guess what, I think I want an iPad mini... it's cute. Maybe one of my children will give me one for Christmas...

Blessings on your weekend!
