Loving Out Loud

As always, my home is where my heart is. I was not made to be a career woman...I am a homemaker. Oh, I went to Beauty College and got my license. But working in a Salon, just wasn't for me. So, here I am spending time organizing and doing some purging of closets and drawers. This is my therapy...this is my calling.
I was made to touch others and am finding this new world of Texting and Emailing so impersonal. Don't get me wrong...I do Text and Email! And am certainly not sitting in judgment...never would I do that. But, how do we convey Love... when no compassionate voice is heard (out loud) or the loving touch of God's own Hands felt through another's touch? I find that sometimes, a touch speaks louder than words.
The Holy Spirit is showing me that Love does indeed conquer all. And that mercy and truth do not ever forsake us! The Word says "Bind them (mercy and truth) around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart." Proverbs 3:3
My heart is your tablet Lord and I am ready to Love out loud.

What a beautiful and rare post, Trish.
I so share your way of valuing life and our time on earth.
"I was made to touch others".
You did touch me with these words.
God bless you, now and always.

Lovely post, Trish! I have often heard the voice of the Lord asking me to simply Touch someone...a hug, a hand on the shoulder...people are hungry for the feel of Love...

What a great post! I think you are correct in words and touch is best, however, sometimes I just am crazy busy, someone comes to mind, I want them to know, so I send a text! with a heart of course!
