Alone Again

I am enjoying the weekend alone since Tom is once again in the woods of Bronson...bow hunting. He though is not alone, my son-in-law David and 3 of the Grandbabies are with him. And this is our sweet Lou's first time hunting on her own and she is excited to say the least! Don't worry, her Papa is in the tree stand with her...but she is hunting! Ahhh, a girl after his own heart. Lol. (I am not an outdoorsy kind of gal)
I have been one busy ol' grammy...While I was away, my Tomer put in a new electrical outlet and did a bit of patch work on the drywall in the kitchen. So, that called for new paint and I came home to a lovely new shade of yellow. But a drywall dusty kitchen and I have happily cleaned til my heart's content.
So, tonight I am enjoying the yummy smell of Fall candles and my twinkley lights in the kitchen. Oh and I can't forget the cutest pumpkins glowing on the snack bar that my Kellerbell made just for me!
I have studied and have everything ready for our Sunday School Class in the morning. And after being away for two weekends in a row, it will be good to see their happy little faces as I greet them once again! God is good...ALL THE TIME!

Dear Trish,
You are managing quite a lot in such a short time.
I'm sure the hunters are having a wonderful time outdoors.
Hopefully they bring home some goodies for you too.
The kitchen is looking great.
Best of all is your work at Sunday school. I so love and admire the teachers there. After motherhood, they have the world's most important job.
Like all jobs that really matters, this comes with a salary in the bank of heaven.( I was about to add only, but that came out all wrong. The place where thieves don't break in and steal and where rust and moths do not destroy.)
God bless you and your so important work for him.

Your kitchen looks so pretty,
Trish! I love your twinkling
lights. I keep my lights up
year round. It's fun to turn
them on for special dinners
and all. I just enjoy them if
we are the only ones here too.
So pretty and festive.
Hope your week is blessed in
His presence.
Love,
Sandy

Just looking at your picture takes me back to that cozy kitchen and the warmth your home offers everyone who enters. I'm so thankful you are enjoying the opportunity to spend some quiet time soaking up the joy of your home and the blessings of the Lord! I love you my sister and I miss you so, so much!

Many hugs...........
