Daddy's Girl

84 years ago today...my Daddy was born in this house that he called the "Old Homeplace." But, today Daddy is in a new Home Place, with his precious Jesus.
Oh, how I miss him.

I, was blessed to be raised on the ways and gentle kindness, of this small town Southern man. Thank you Lord...for Daddy.

We really do miss them, don't we? My Dad was more of a solid presence then a hands on Dad...but still his love was felt.
Every child deserves to know the love of their Daddy! You are very blessed to have had such a wonderfull man to call Dad.

As time passes and Daddy ages, I realize more every day how blessed we are to have him in our lives.

I am so thankful you have those wonderful memories to comfort you and so thankful you Daddy is now in his New Home! There lies the source of all our hope!

Many hugs............

Oh, I miss my daddy too.
He went to be with Jesus 3 years ago.
My mother will be 85 July 2nd, and she is still among us. I'm so looking forwards to a small celebration.
Does that old home place still exist? Looks like some handy persons might get themselves a good life there.
