Not Forsaken Nor Destroyed

Dear Friends,
You will not find me here for a while. I have no words to describe the sadness that our family has experienced. Early Sunday morning our sweet, kind nephew David took his own life. I have been walking around in shock and disbelief.
His sister has been with us and this morning Tom will pick up our niece from Kansas, at the airport. I pray that I will be Christs hands reaching out, His ears listening to broken hearts shed their grief and His heart full of compassion and love.
Please pray for our family (especially his wife) the next few days as we prepare to say our goodbyes to this precious boy.
We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed--
2 Corinthians 8-9

Love,
trish

Dear Trish,
I am praying whenever I have a spare moment.
The Lord will support you through this valley of death.
I praise the Lord for his promises midst in your darkest moment. He will be there for and with you.
Psalm 121
A song of ascents.
1 I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?

2 My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;

4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The LORD watches over you—
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;

6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

7 The LORD will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;

8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
Amen

Dear Trish,
I am so sorry. My heart is heavy with your sorrow. There is never a good way to lose a loved one but this way always leaves a void that will never be answered. I will pray for you and your family. When you have time, please send me the full name and address of his mother and anyone else that you would like to receive a handkerchief to catch their tears.
dpucci9972@gmail.com My thoughts and prayers will be with you during the next several days as you go through the services. Please know that I care.

I join the others in praying for you and your family. Death is never easy, suicide is unexplainable. You will be Christ's hands my friend, never doubt that. May the Lord give peace and comfort and sustain each member of this family.
Please call if you need anything.
