His Enduring Mercy

It has been a slow quiet day...started out cloudy and gray. But now the sun is just a shining! Haven't accomplished a lot and that's alright. I gave the bathroom and kitchen a good scrubbing yesterday..the rest can wait.
Read the word and pondered awhile on the back porch with my coffee. I was feeling unworthy of the blessings that God his bestowed upon us. While we enjoy very good health and Lord I am ever so thankful. Some of our friends and family battle chronic illness and struggle with pain everyday. Lord, please touch those we love that battle just to get up every morning and go about another day. A Mama who after 54 years, is lost without my Daddy and loneliness overcomes her and I am 600 miles away...sigh. Brothers with Parkinson's and Crohns disease. A widowed sister, who just finished radiation for Breast Cancer and never complains. A sister with such severe Neuropathy that it keeps her up at night. Friends with countless maladies, such as Diabetes, Neuropathy, Kidney Failure, Cancer, MS, Asthma, Lung and Heart Disease, Fibromyalgia, Depression, Anxiety...I could go on and on. But, what God wants us to know is...that He is there...right in the middle of our struggles. His Grace is more than sufficient, His arms big enough to hold us, comfort us. We must learn to lean on Him, trust Him with everything...give Him our very best...that's all he expects from us, Dear Ones...let Him carry your burdens...He will do the rest. He is waiting for you!

1. Oh., give thanks to the lord, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever.
2. Oh, give thanks to the God of gods!
For His mercy endures forever.
3. Oh, give thanks to the Lord of lords!
For His mercy endures forever.
4. To Him alone who does great wonders.
For His mercy endures forecer.
5. To Him whom by wisdom made the heavens.
For his mercy endures forever.
Praise God...His mercy endures forever!!!
Psalms 136:1-5

Love to All!

Amen to this beautiful post. His mercy never fails and is new every morning...when we wake up, it should be with joy that we are given the gift of another day. I've been down the last few days with the customary aches and pains of fibro...but I still claim his promises!
I love you!
