National Day Of Prayer

Recognizing that prayer has been and continues to be an integral part of our nation's
history. Congress established a National Day of Prayer in 1952. (the year I was born)

On the 1st Thursday of May, all Americans are encouraged to exercise their religious
freedom by gathering publicly to worship and pray for our land.

Today, Obama chose not to participate. I find this incredibly sad...
Forgive us Lord?

Love to all!

I continue to be ashamed of this man as our President! I am so broken hearted for our country. Just this week in my local newspaper, there was a letter to the editor extoling all the virtues of this wonderful President Obama! I was sickened to read it! How sad that we as a nation and a people have walked so far away from the Lord that we can't recognize an imposter when he stares us in the face! Indeed, Lord forgive us!

Many hugs..........

The only thing we can continue to do is lift him up in prayer.

The picture of General Washington praying is one of my favorites! Can you picture our current President in this posture? Sounds judgmental I know but it's a question I ask. Was a time when our country wouldn't wonder or doubt about our leaders and their beliefs...

It was with horror and disbelief that I heard the news on television that our President wasn't going to publicly acknowledge the National Day of Prayer....it was then that I began praying and wrote my blog entry for the day. ...It was very difficult for me to stay on track and pray and not go off on what I was thinking regarding what I believe to be our President's poor choice! Come quickly, Lord Jesus!!

Hi Trish ... just stopping by for a quick minute. This is a sad era in America to be too ashamed or uncaring at the very highest office in the land to shut the door on God and His people. Well, no matter how hard O shuts the door, praying warriors of Christ will stand in unity until the Lord returns.
