7 Things I Love

Sweet Samantha, another Tennessee gal has presented me with the Kreativ Blogger Award...thank you ma'am. I'm sorry that it took me awhile but I am just learning this computer stuff.

1. My Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ!!!

2. My family...Tomer, my girls and their babies! And growing up...I had the best Mama and Daddy a girl could ask for.

3. Spring...the smells, the rain, the sunshine...all of God's creation coming to life...the landscapes and all their glorious colors!

4. Road trips...just put Tomer and I in a car to anywhere...Joy!

5. Watching the Grandbabies as they grow...each phase...every experience...being an active part of their lives...Wow!

6. My home...a place where I find refuge...a place that shelters me and where I am loved.

7. Tennessee...the red dirt of that land, beckons me still.

Love to All!

Loved reading your list Trish. God and family, those are the things I treasure the most, as do you. Reading that you and Tomer love road trips made me smile. Terry and I were the same. A weekend, a week, a month...whatever! We just loved to be out there together exploring and discovering things!

Many hugs.........

You asked if that was my dad in the uniform? Yes it was, obviously the man dancing with my mother and NOT Elvis Presley! Ha Ha! I agree with you about Charlie resembling my dad a bit. It's funny but when I'm around my dad's family, I ALWAYS hear,
"You look JUST LIKE Jim!"

When I'm around my Mutti's family, I hear,
"You look JUST LIKE Helga!"

Obviously this just isn't possible since neither of them look anything alike! Personally, I believe I look more like my dad and Charlie growing up, has looked more like me than Dave.

Your list:
I am going to have to plan a road trip to Tennessee. I vaguely remember driving through Nashville over 30 years ago on my way to Florida. I would love to see the Smoky Mountains in the Fall!

Dear Trish,
I can sign your list from the bottom of my heart too.
Except for the part about grandbabies. I am not yet a lucky grandmother. Then again I was 38 when my only baby, Serina, was born. Guess I just have to be patient.
Have a good Tuesday.
